Meet Our Grave Tenders

  • Principal, Grave Tender

Throughout my life, I’ve had the privilege to witness how different cultures around the world treat end of life care, the death of our loved ones and in what manner we continue to honor their memory. I gained further understanding during my internship at a mortuary. The biggest lesson that has stuck with me throughout the years, is how important it is to take care of the deceased as if they were our own, as well as, to be a support to the families in their time of grief. I believe Headstoners has a special gift to come alongside families with compassion and make it a bit easier for them to continue their loved one’s legacy for generations to come.

  • Founder, Grave Tender

Growing up, I had always been fascinated by the history in a cemetery, and the stories of the individuals resting within. Each headstone held within it a narrative waiting to be shared, and it became my duty to bring those stories to life once more. In 2021, I began Headstoners and embarked on a journey to breathe life back into forgotten gravestones. I sought to revitalize these spaces, ensuring they were a true testament to the lives etched into the stones. My aim is to transfer the burden of maintaining these sacred spaces from grieving families to a trusted caretaker, allowing them to focus on cherishing the memories of their loved ones.  Headstoners is not just a business venture; it is a calling - a mission to honor the thread of life that connects generations.
